Dark Sky Wales is a team of professional educators who provide workshop sessions designed to inspire young learners and to encourage them to take an interest in science, mathematics and engineering.  In 2011, the DFET gave Dark Sky Wales a grant of £20,000 to purchase a van to take their activities to a broader audience across Wales.
